Lauren has worked as a physical therapist (PT) for more than five years and has been a part of the Motor Milestones team since 2020. As a PT, she said she has always been partial to pediatrics. Her favorite thing about her work is developing relationships with families and getting to be a part of meaningful milestones such as crawling for the first time and first steps. When asked what she wishes more families knew about early intervention, she said that early intervention services are a wonderful resource that can benefit all families and provide support and encouragement. One of the most valuable things you can do with your child is sit on the floor and play with them.

Having grown up in Colorado Springs, Lauren is Coloradan through and through. Her favorite things about the state are beautiful summer evenings, when the sun comes out after it snows and hiking with her family. When she’s not at work, you can find Lauren spending time with her husband, Mitch, and snuggling and playing with their baby Holly, pictured here at a beautiful Colorado pumpkin patch!

Although Lauren started at Motor Milestones during the COVID-19 pandemic when our team was primarily seeing patients via telehealth, she said she has grown with the support of the team as we have transitioned back to seeing patients in-person. We are so grateful to have Lauren at Motor Milestones!
