Rachel is from Lexington, Kentucky where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Kentucky in 2013. Rachel then moved to Louisville, Kentucky to earn her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Spalding University in 2016. Rachel made the move to Colorado upon graduation to begin her career with Motor Milestones Pediatric Therapy. Rachel now calls Colorado home and lives with her husband and two step kids.
Rachel always knew she wanted to work with kids, but has truly found her place in the OT world working in Early Intervention. She thrives to help newborns, infants, toddlers, and their caretakers adjust to having a child with delays or simply a new baby at home. Rachel uses the coaching model during her daily practice to provide education around sensory, motor, feeding, and adaptive skills to achieve goals and make progress with each client and family. Time away from work, Rachel enjoys exploring new mountain towns, browsing thrift stores, eating pizza and tacos, and crafting. To stay active she enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, sledding, kayaking, and swimming. She especially loves camping during the Summer and cooking over the campfire.
