Mariana grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but has lived in Colorado working for Denver Public Schools for more than 25 years. Becoming an early childhood special educator (ECSE) was a goal for her, which she recently accomplished to join Motor Milestones! She said this role will allow her to work with families prior to when their children start school.
Her favorite part of the role is working with children and their families supporting their needs. When asked what she wishes more families knew about early intervention, Mariana said she wishes more families would reach out when they feel like they need help at home, so our teams can be there as a resource to support them in the early years of their child’s life.
As the picture shows, Mariana’s favorite thing about Colorado is being outdoors in the mountains. But, even when she’s indoors, Mariana loves working with clay, pottery, and handbuilding (like pottery without the wheel).
Please join us in welcoming Mariana to the Motor Milestones team!
